The program allows you to burn a slide show CD that can be played on another PC
computer. This feature is available only on computers running Windows XP Service
Pack 2 or later. If this option is disabled on your computer or you want to burn an Autorun CD or DVD disc manually, just copy (burn)
an output slide show (.exe) file and Autorun.inf created by the Tools |
Executable menu to a blank CD
or DVD disc using your CD/DVD burning software. Click here
to read more.
Also sometimes the build-in Windows CD burning engine is blocked by 3rd-party
CD/DVD burning software. You can right-click on your CD/DVD burner drive, select
Properties, then select the Recording tab and check if Enable
CD recording on this drive option is selected.
To burn a CD
-
Create a new slide show project or open an existing one.
-
Select the Tools menu and click Autorun CD.
-
Select Output type.
If you select the Single executable file option, the program copies and
packs all source image and audio files into one executable file. If you select
the Set of files option, the program places source image and audio
files into separate subfolders on the CD.
-
On the Images tab, select the Resize slide images checkbox
if you want the program to make slide images smaller.
If your source images have a resolution (in pixels) larger than the one you
indicate in the New size selector, MySlideShow will resize them. Smaller images
will be kept in their original sizes.
-
Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc or erase a used CD-RW disc by the Erase button.
-
Click on the Start button.
Notes
-
The program doesn't change your source image files. Resizing of your
output slide images may help to produce faster and smaller output slide shows.
-
To check the pixel resolution of your images, select an image file in the File List or Slide List and look at the Status Bar.
-
When the program resize slide images, it saves them in JPEG format.
-
MySlideShow doesn't burn DVD-R/RW or DVD+R/RW discs. Please read the
Executable Slide Show topic and use your
CD/DVD burning software to burn Autorun DVDs.
